Keter is the first Sefirah, standing at the top of the Tree of Life.

The word itself translates as 'Crown,' and the symbol is clear: a crown rises above the head, it does not touch it directly, but it governs the whole body.

In the same way, Keter is the highest point that sets the direction for all creation.
